ISPRA produces data and information through annual reports, providing a solid basis for public policies and offering technical-scientific support to institutions for the development and transposition of European regulations on waste and circular economy through its “National Centre for Waste and Circular Economy.” The Institute also provides data and analyses on key indicators such as greenhouse gas emissions, separate waste collection, and resource use—essential for measuring progress in the ecological transition. It carries out environmental monitoring and verification activities, which are also crucial to ensuring sustainable waste management and “green” policies, and is engaged in awareness-raising campaigns on food waste and recycling to promote cultural change toward more sustainable models.
Confcommercio is present throughout the national territory through a widespread associative network, organized both at local level (local Associations and Regional Unions) and at national level (sectoral Associations and Federations). It constitutes the general and unified representation system for businesses, professional activities, and self-employed workers. Through its Confederation offices and departments, it provides members and the system’s structures with assistance and support in all areas relevant to the represented enterprises, including: corporate taxation, labor and labor agreements, social security and welfare, energy and utilities, credit, legality and security, and training.
The signing of the protocol is grounded in the shared need to promote the ecological transition of the production system and to encourage businesses to adopt sustainable models for resource and waste management.
