Fourth report on regional data
The fourth report on the contaminated sites management at regional level, presents data on administrative and technical procedures updated to 01/01/2024. This update is based on data provided by Regional and Autonomous Provincial authorities, as well as Environmental Protection Agencies, as part of the 2024 population of MOSAICO, the national database on remediation procedures.
The report includes general analyses of the 16,365 ongoing and 22,191 concluded procedures recorded in
MOSAICO. It then focuses on a more environmentally significant subset: the 17,406 procedures that have
passed the Characterization Plan approval stage.
