DESCRIPTION:Today\, ISPRA hosted a Polish delegation composed of two repre
 sentatives of the General Directorate for Environmental Protection – the
  Competent Body for the EMAS Regulation – and a representative of the Mi
 nistry of Climate and the Environment\, as part of a project dedicated to 
 promoting EMAS in Poland.   Italy was chosen as the reference country beca
 use it is among the Member States with the most advanced EMAS participatio
 n.   The visit represented an important opportunity for discussion and the
  exchange of best practices\, with the shared goal of strengthening the di
 ssemination of EMAS at the European level.   ISPRA thanks the Polish deleg
 ation for their fruitful collaboration.
