DESCRIPTION:As part of the RemTech Expo event\, ISPRA is organizing the co
 nference "The new hydrogeological map of Italy at the 1:500\,000 scale: co
 mparison with the territory".   The joint research by ISPRA and the Univer
 sity of Milan aims to homogenize the knowledge and available data\, leadin
 g to the creation of the new  Hydrogeological Map of Italy at a scale of 1
 :500\,000  on the available cartographic basis. The map will thus be able 
 to enhance a wealth of knowledge which\, at the moment\, is fragmented and
  non-homogeneous and therefore not very usable and useful for management a
 ssessments and modeling of future scenarios of availability of underground
  water resources at a national level.
