DESCRIPTION:The Summer School of Marine and Coastal Geology\, Ecology\, an
 d Biology in Island Environments was created to provide advanced training 
 and scientific development to master's and doctoral students\, researchers
 \, and technicians working in the environmental sector. The multidisciplin
 ary curriculum is developed through lectures and practical exercises in va
 rious geological\, biological\, and natural sciences applied to the coasta
 l marine environment. Special attention will be paid to new technologies u
 sed in the study of these ecosystems\, which are highly vulnerable and str
 ongly affected by the effects of climate change\, given their location on 
 the boundary between the marine and continental domains.
