Guardians of the Beach: An Ecosystem to Know, Share, and Protect
The AMMIRARE project (Actions and Methodologies for Improving the Resilience of Sandy Shores), funded by the Interreg Maritime IT–FR programme, marks a key milestone in its development. From 25 to 27 March 2026, the city of Cecina (LI) will host three days full of technical, scientific, and outreach events aimed at taking stock of the protection of our coastlines.
The event, significantly titled “Guardians of the Beach: An Ecosystem to Know, Share, and Protect,” represents a turning point in the project’s activities and will bring together institutions, experts, and citizens, along with partners from the five regions involved: Tuscany, Liguria, Sardinia, Corsica, and PACA (Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur)
