On October 2nd, the SNPA Council, with resolution no. 59/2019, approved the technical document "Criteria for the evaluation of applications for authorization to install mobile telephony systems with mMIMO antennas", that concern the authorization criteria for mobile telephone systems equipped with "5G" technology, set up in area of the Working Group of TIC VII / 08 "Exposure to electromagnetic fields", of which ISPRA acts as coordinator.
In agreement with the participants of the Working Group, ISPRA organized a study seminar, in order to present the contents of the technical document both to mobile telephony operators and to other public bodies involved in various qualifications in issues related to the development of 5G technology (Ministry of the Environment, National Institute of Health, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Health)
