From 16 to 17 april, there will be held in Venice the conference launch: "Climate cHallengess on coAstal and traNsitional chanGing arEas: WEaving a Cross-Adriatic Response" that is funded by the european community of transnational cooperation INTERREG Italy-Croatia and coordinated by CNR-ISMAR Venice.
The project, which has a duration of 30 months, aims to implement the knowledge and the monitoring of the effects of climate change on the transition and coastal environments of the Adriatic area, in order to plan the necessary mitigation and adaptation measures.
ISPRA will be mainly involved in actions related to ecological aspects and their evolution following the current and planned climate changes in the future and also will coordinate the study and development of scenarios of evolution of the different dynamics of impacts on transitional coastal and aquatic ecosystems
