Press conference Anci - Coripet
Today it was held the presentation of the data base about the collection on the Pet containers and the results of management activities of Anci and Coripet. The agreement between the Municipalities association and the Consortium which deals with starting PET plastic bottles for recycling, three years after its launch, has recorded growing numbers in the collection and recycling of PET.

One of the most significant points of the Agreement was precisely the creation of a specific database for monitoring the progress of the collections of PET packaging, which today allows us to take stock of the collaboration between Anci and Coripet.
"Every day 90 tons of plastic are discharged into the sea from our rivers. Ispra is at the forefront in monitoring the Mediterranean for the reduction of plastic management. The Anci/Coripet agreement strengthens the correct management of plastic waste, limiting its dispersion" - declared the general director of ISPRA, Maria Siclari, speaking at the press conference.
