Municipal Waste Report - edition 2025
The Urban Waste Report, now in its twenty-seventh edition, with data updated to 2024 on the production, separate waste collection, management, and import/export flows of urban waste and packaging at the national, regional, and provincial levels, was developed by ISPRA's National Waste and Circular Economy Center, with the contribution of local environmental agencies. It offers a comprehensive and objective framework to support legislators in guiding policies and interventions, monitoring their effectiveness, and introducing any corrective measures.
The Report also includes monitoring of the costs of urban sanitation services, the application of the tariff system, and a review of the implementation status of territorial planning updated to 2024.
The Appendix will be published in January 2026.
