Rome Docscient Festival 2014 - ISPRA in the scientific jury

The 2014 Rome Docscient International Documentary Film Festival of University and Scientific Research Institutes is now in its fourth edition . The event to launch the 2014 Call for Entry will be held on Friday, May 9th at 10:00 am at the Cinema Hall of the Institute of Cine- TV Higher Education Rossellini and will be accompanied by the presentation of the First Edition of the Prize Acea "Essere Acqua", a section out of competition dedicated to the evocative nature of short videos on the theme of Water, involving students of high school grades.

In the first part of the festival Pietro Greco (Scientific Advisor of ISPRA) will introduce us to the theme "Science told through images from Galileo to ourdays". In the second part of the day, the video performance of the artist Daniela Papadia will allow us to perceive those suggestions that the award ACEA - "Essere Acqua" would like to evoke in the participants in the contest. The performance of the actor Andrea Rivera will make the meeting more enjoyable. The 2014 Rome Docscient Festival is organized, thanks to the economic contribution of ACEA SpA, by the cultural association "Progetto Scienza"  in collaboration with ISTC-CNR, ISPRA TV, ENEA Web-Tv, INGV , Uniroma 1 Department of Sociology and Social Research, Uniroma 2 Department of  Biology, IAMS, A&C and State Cine-TV Rossellini Institute and will be held from December 4 to December 6 in the main venue of the Institute of Higher Education Cine- TV Rossellini, Via della Vasca Navale 58, and at other locations in the city ​​of Rome. The deadline for entries is October 13, 2014. ISPRATV, as well as being involved in the organization , is also a media partner of the event.  Director-General of ISPRA, Stefano Laporta and the Scientific Advisor of ISPRA, Pietro Greco, will be part of the scientific jury to assess the best productions. ISPRA will disclose its scientific projects and dedicated products video.
