Summer-Fall School 2025 "Environmental Research and Monitoring Laboratories – Environment and Health"

The Summer-Autumn School aims to train experts who know how to navigate the different analytical methodologies to be used in monitoring the main environmental matrices, from sampling to laboratory analysis. The topics covered range from chemical, biological, ecotoxicological and geological analysis to environmental metrology, certification and accreditation of laboratories. In-depth study of the phenomena of bioaccumulation and biomagnification of contaminants; study of air quality; application of the One Health approach

The School is divided into two phases, temporally and spatially distinct, which include 5 days of lectures and practical exercises in the field, on the island of ISCHIA and 5 days of lectures and practical demonstrations, at the ISPRA laboratories in Rome.

The School is aimed at students who have obtained at least a three-year degree in scientific disciplines (MFN sciences, engineering), a master's degree, or doctoral students, doctorates interested in exploring the topics covered by the School.

Participation in the School is free of charge. Participants are responsible for board and lodging expenses and travel expenses. Insurance coverage of participants will be covered by ISPRA.
