Map of Nature of the Friuli Venezia Giulia - 1:50.000 scale
In this volume are showed the activities for the realization of Map of Nature in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It shows the results of a close collaboration between Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, Ispra and Università degli Studi di Trieste, started in 2005 and ended in 2008.
The first chapter of the book describe the methodologies used for the realization of the habitat map of the region at 1: 50,000 scale and for the estimation of the ecological value and environmental fragility of habitats; the others chapters illustrate and comment the results at local level.
The information system realized is a tool of information available for multiple purposes, including environmental assessments and national and regional planning.
