Green Blue Days is a forum in the form of talks structured over several days, where you can share experiences, propose solutions, to integrate the culture of Green-Blue in every aspect of life. The event aims to address a series of issues related to environmental sustainability - such as the UN Agenda 2030, ecological transition and digital transformation, social agriculture, sustainable tourism, architecture and territory, circular economy, end of waste, sustainable design and fashion, anti food waste, smart cities and green mobility with the aim of promoting a change that is above all cultural and social.

Now in its fifth edition, the Sustainable Development Festival is the biggest Italian initiative to raise awareness and mobilize citizens, young generations, businesses, associations and institutions on the issues of economic, social and environmental sustainability, spread the culture of sustainability and make a change cultural and political that allows Italy to implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda and achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dialogue with the public and stakeholders is, together with the improvement of environmental performance, the main objective of the EC Regulation 1221/2009 EMAS, whose general approach is based on the need for sharing, credibility and transparency. The Ecolabel Ecoaudit Committee, with the technical support of ISPRA, organized a discussion table via streaming on the theme "EMAS and Circular Economy" in order to offer at the organizations the opportunity to share concrete experiences of Circular Economy implemented in their own reality, highlighting the relationship with the EMAS Scheme, and making any proposals and suggestions to strengthen its effectiveness.

On April 7, the "Fourth Report on the state of natural capital in Italy" was presented by videoconference, in the presence of the Minister for Ecological Transition Roberto Cingolani, which, after the approval, it will be sent to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy. The plenary meeting of the Committee for natural capital was attended by among others, in addition to the director general of the Mite for the naturalistic heritage Antonio Maturani, the Minister of Infrastructures and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini, the Minister of Agricultural Policies Stefano Patuanelli, the Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavaglia, the Deputy Minister of Economy Laura Castelli, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor Rossella Accoto, the Undersecretary of the South Dalila Nesci and the president of ISPRA Stefano Laporta.

The project aims to test the measures of the National Action Plan for the sustainable use of plant protection products (PAN) intended for the protection of biodiversity, to be implemented, especially in protected areas, Natura 2000 sites and Ramsar areas.

A group of scientists from ISPRA, the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) and Ikerbasque have demonstrated the feasibility of moving towards a widespread application of SEEA-EEA – the accepted international standard for environmental-economic accounting – compliant country-based accounts.

This work represents one of the first studies made available at such geographical scope using k.LAB, the technology powering ARIES, which is poised to automate accounting routines for producers of natural capital accounts.

General states of urban green is an event promoted by the Committee for the development of public green set up at the Italian Minister of Environment, Land and Sea under the law 10/2013. Now in its sixth edition, the General States is an opportunity to analyze with the protagonists of politics, science, economics, arts, law, and other social sciences the role of green in the cities.

The central event will take place on 23 November on a day divided into four sessions organized by the Committee for the development of public green spaces, which will be attended by representatives of public institutions and the private world. The ISPRA President Stefano Laporta is participating in the first sesssion.
