National tree day 2014. The tree: its history, our history.

The Law no. 10/2013 amd the Ministerial Decree of its implementation, signed by the Ministers of Environment, Agriculture and Cultural Heritage, establish a system that finally provide a "strong" protection and enhancement of veteran trees. They shape in many areas the skyline of the Italian territory, characterizing the tourism with an identity strongly rooted in local communities. The conference is dedicated to monumental trees and provides a moment of reflection, discussion, and promotion about a widespread green culture related to health, environment, landscape, economy, development of the country and its territories.
