The seminar aims to stimulated among experts a debate on a subject of significant importance in the field of environmental policies. Constructions use about 40% of the world's energy, 25% of global water, 40% of global resources, and emit about 1/3 of the greenhouse gas emissions and are responsible for about 50% by weight of the waste, as declared by the UNEP (United Nations Environment Program). The Director and the Vice President of the Green Building Council (GBC) will expose the topic in question.
