The event will be characterized, in the first part, by a public seminar to present the outcomes of the research project of national interest (PRIN 2010-2011) entitled "post-metropolitan territories as emerging urban forms: the challenges of sustainability, livability and governability" , which aims to present and discuss critically a new map of urbanity in Italy and identify necessary sector of innovation in the field of governance, project and urban policies. In the afternoon there will be the lecture by Neil Brenner (Harvard Graduate School of Design) entitled "State, space, urbanization"
