With the amendment of art. 9 of the Constitution, Italy has recognized the environment as a value protected by the constitution
On May 19, during the Nature in mind event, the "Charter for biodiversity education" was presented, wanted by the Presidency of the Republic and supported by the Ministries of Education and Ecological Transition.
A Charter to accompany the new generations to understand the complexity of the phenomena of nature and to act for the path of ecological and cultural transition. The "Charter for biodiversity education" will be presented on June 3 during an institutional event to be held at the Presidential Estate of Castelporziano, in Rome.
The document testifies to the will of the world of schools and civil society to promote innovative training courses and the commitment to spread a culture of sustainability oriented towards respect for nature and a conscious use of the planet's resources.
