The green week is the most important event for the European environmental policy. The theme of this twelfth edition is Water. Water is a very valuable resource that needs to be used properly and sparingly making sure that we have enough for all of its uses, avoiding pollution of our rivers, seas and oceans. Along with all other natural resources, this is one of the most vital for the continuation of our existence on the planet . The conference includes: over 40 sessions where will be illustrated all the strategies oriented to the conservation of this resource; an exhibition area with 52 stands that will show eco-friendly solutions for the companies; several activities from no-governmental organizations, local and regional authorities, European and international organizations and a dedicated area to LIFE projects. Satellite events such as press conferences, guided tours, shows and fairs related to the green week represent a very important part of the event and are organized throughout Europe with the aim of going beyond Brussels . The green week offers a series of debates, exchanges of experience and best practices intended to attract the representatives of institutions, the world of business and industry, no-governmental organizations, academia and media.
