On Saturday, September 26, the conference “Circular Economy and Economic Development” will be held. The panel aims to explore how waste, understood no longer as something to be discarded but as a resource, can become an enabling factor for generating value in local communities. The discussion will examine how proper waste management can contribute to the competitiveness of the economic system and promote a new culture of sustainability through an integrated approach that brings together the industrial, cultural and social dimensions.
Mara D’Amico, Head of the EMAS Section at ISPRA, is expected to participate.
