On May 26, on the occasion of the screening of the documentary A Plastic Ocean — a work exploring the devastating impact of plastics and everyday pollution on marine ecosystems — Tomaso Fortibuoni will take part in the event. During the meeting, the activities of the TETHYS4ADRION project will be presented, highlighting its research on the role of rivers in the spread of plastic waste throughout the Adriatic-Ionian region. The project’s main objective is to develop effective mitigation strategies to reduce the flow of waste from waterways into the sea.
