General States of the Green Economy 2026

The General States of the Green Economy, the annual event dedicated to Italy’s green economy, are promoted by the Foundation for Sustainable Development in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, under the patronage of the European Commission and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. They serve as a key reference point for thousands of businesses and other stakeholders. Between 2012 and 2025, the event engaged more than 9,000 stakeholders.

Now in its 15th edition, this year’s General States of the Green Economy will focus on the theme “International Drivers of the Green Economy in a Critical Geopolitical Context”. The event will take place on 3 and 4 November 2026 at the Rimini Expo Centre, as part of Italian Exhibition Group’s Ecomondo event.
