A "geological and pictorial" guided tour of the paintings in the Bentivoglio and S. Antonio chapels in the Basilica of San Giacomo Maggiore is scheduled for Thursday 15 February.

On Friday 16th there will be a morning session of scientific talks on the topics of History of Science, while in the afternoon 3 recently published books will be presented with talks by the authors.

ISPRA will participate with a speech by some researchers on the history of volcanology and the role of geology in military sciences.

The conference, which will be held in the prestigious Sala di Ulisse of the Academy of Sciences in Via Zamboni 31, represents an important moment for the valorisation of the Library's documentary heritage and to demonstrate the role of ISPRA also in the scientific-cultural field.
