ISPRA at the "Geosciences and the Challenges of the 21st Century" conference.
From September 15 to 18, the Joint National Congress of the Italian Society of Mineralogy and Petrology and the Italian Geological Society will take place in Padua. 1,000 scientists will attend, presenting 1,100 new studies on the challenges facing the future of our planet, environmental risks, raw materials, and the new opportunities opened up by space exploration.

38 sessions, including four plenary sessions on climate change, the Anthropocene, economic geology, and critical raw materials, will feature leading international scientists, including those presenting to the press, the results of scientific studies being presented for the first time.
ISPRA researchers will present data collected by Geological Cartography in Italy. A total of 70 scientific contributions will cover a wide range of aspects of Italian geology, including tectonics and marine geology.
