Urban Green, Environment and Landscape: Governance and Territory

The conference, promoted by the Association of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists (PPC) of the Provinces of Novara and VCO, together with its Environment and Landscape Commission, under the patronage of ISPRA, addresses the role of green spaces and landscape as strategic infrastructure for environmental, climate and urban quality. The event will explore the European and Italian regulatory framework, spatial planning tools, and policies for the management of public green spaces. The conference is structured in two sessions:

• the first session focuses on the European and national macro-scale, addressing the Nature Restoration Law, Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), and the National Restoration Plan;

• the second session focuses on municipal planning, urban green space management, and local regulations.
