Survey of RAI 1, RAI 2 and RAI 3 programmes in the decade 2006-2015 This book illustrates the main results of a study on the representation, in the programmes of the three main public service networks, of the chemicals present in everyday products, their risks for man and the environment and their management (prevention, minimisation, mitigation). The research, carried out using both qualitative and quantitative methods of content analysis, concerned the broadcasts of RAI 1, RAI 2 and RAI 3 in the decade 2006-2015

World Soil Day
Today the World Soil Day organized by FAO to celebrate the importance of the soil for the planet survival, starting with the fight against climate change. Rome and Milan are the headquarters of the main initiatives organized by the Soil4life Project to celebrate the World Soil Day. In Rome, in Piazza del Popolo, starting at 10.30, a flash-mob initiative where people by will be involved in a collective action to remove the green lawn to understand the speed with which In Italy soil is lost. Then a banner will be unrolled with the word Stop soil consumption, in front of cameras and photographers. The initiative will be repeated every 30-40 minutes.

Trees National Day
Today is celebrated in Italy th Tree National Day established as a national anniversary with a law of the Italian Republic that came into force in February 2013. The  Castelporziano wood estate, which extends from the outskirts of Rome to the Tyrrhenian coast, represents a unique environmental heritage in Italy and of great value on a scale throughout the entire Mediterranean basin. For over 30 years ISPRA (initially as the National Institute for Wild Fauna, later merged in the National System for Environmental Protection), collaborates with the Presidency of the Republic to survey fauna populations, follow their demographic dynamics, providing indications for conservation and management of Ungulati populations.

Poachers kill one of Bonelli's first eagles reintroduced in Sardinia
The poaching act, which is criminally very serious and relevant, puts at risk the outcome of an international project on species conservation, which involves the European Commission, Sardinia Region, ISPRA, Forestas, Regional Forestry Corps, GREFA Spain, Regional Park of Tepilora. The results of the investigative activities in progress are awaited. The eagle found dead near the lake of Monte Pranu in the Sulcis was called Tepilora. She was one of the pioneers of the European project "Aquila a-Life": it came from the captive breeding center of Vandèe in France and was released, together with four others, in August 2018 within the Tepilora Regional Park.
