EIA Pill No. 02 - Public participation in the EIA

With the "EIA Pill n.02 - Public participation in the EIA", the second informative video on the Environmental Impact Assessment, ISPRA continues the path in which it is committed to making the EIA known to citizens, as an effective tool for participation, transparency and protection of the environment and human health. We talk about direct participation tools and their contribution to evaluation procedures, based on citizens' right of access to environmental information. ISPRA and ARPA Sardegna: joint inspection to verify the state of health of the replanting of Posidonia in Porto Torres

On May 18, the technicians of ISPRA and ARPA Sardegna were together in the Gulf of Asinara to monitor the manually transplanted Posidonia oceanica meadow. The transplant started in October 2022 and ended in March 2023, involving a final surface area of ​​11,500 m2 (7,000 m2 net). It is an environmental compensation work prescribed for the expansion works of the Civic Port of Porto Torres, by the VIA Decree n. 35 of 06/02/2018.

The public consultation on the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change has started

The proposed Plan has been published on the portal of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, now open to contributions from citizens, communities and all public and private entities. The National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change (PNACC) is a national planning tool to support national, regional and local institutions in identifying and choosing the most effective adaptation actions according to the level of government, the sector of intervention and of the specificities of the context, favoring the integration of adaptation criteria into planning processes and tools.

The management of odorous impacts - School odors 2022

The initiative is organized by Rse (Research on the Energy System) and the National System for the Protection of the Environment (SNPA), in collaboration with Uni, Accredia and Unichim and resumes the experiences and the path started in the past aimed at increasing knowledge in the management of odorous impacts.
The program includes 4 sessions, on the dates of 4-6-11-13 October, of which 3 are open to all the public and the last one is aimed exclusively at members of the SNPA system and the Public Administration.

From 8 to 10 September will held on the Polvese Island an event dedicated to sustainability through meetings, paths, projects, workshops, music, books, theater and much more. The event "Restoration, Regeneration, Recovery of the Country. Reflections and discussion on Opportunities, Innovations, Experiences, Skills, Public-Private Relations" organized with the collaboration and presence of RemTech Expo is on the agenda on 9 September at 3.00 pm.

Presentation of the SOER 2020, Environmental Data Yearbook and System Reports

The next 3 June, in video streaming with the Italian PM Giuseppe Conte, and David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament, will be presented the three reports dedicated to the environmental situation in Europe and in Italy: the SOER 2020 (State of the Environment Report), the Environmental Data Yearbook 2019 which shows the state of the environment in Italy and the System Report which presents regional experiences.
