The objective of EUROBOAR is to promote comparative research, theoretical and applied, on the behavior and ecology of the wild boar at the European level.
EUROBOAR belongs to the EUROMAMMALS network of researchers and technicians, an initiative that has been pioneering collaborative science in wildlife ecology since 2007.
During the meeting, participants will be shown the functioning of the new net traps for catching wild boars, recently tested by ISPRA, in collaboration with the IZS of Piedmont, Liguria and Val d'Aosta, in the Presidential Estate of Castelporziano and in the Piedmontese Po Regional Park.
