Seminar of historical cartographic studies : from the Map to GIS

The Laboratory geocartographic "Giuseppe Caraci" of the Department of Humanistic Studies at the University Roma Tre, in cooperation with the Italian Centre for Historical-Geographic Studies, organizes on 9 and 10 April 2015, the ninth edition of the Seminar of historical cartographic studies : from the Map to GIS. The seminar aims to debate on natural disasters, natural and / or anthropic, and the link between this 2 processes.

ISPRA will participate  with two specific actions:

• Marco Pantaloni, Fabiana Console, Paolo Perini: "Evolution of Fucino plain between reclamation and earthquake (1870 - 1915)";

• Mario Aversa: "Natural events, historical information, geomorphological elements and contribution from the analysis of satellite images radar".

The seminar will take place in the Laboratory "Giuseppe Garaci", in Via Ostiense, 234-236
