World Water Forum. Bali 18-25 May 2024
The 10th World Water Forum will be held in Bali, Indonesia from 18 to 25 May. The theme of this edition is Water for shared prosperity. The World Water Forum brings together political and civil society representatives, public authorities, academics and the private sector to address global challenges related to the management and sustainability of water resources.

The European partnership Water4All, of which ISPRA is a partner, will participate in the work of the World Water Forum 2024 and will co-chair two thematic sessions dedicated to the following topics: Methods and tools for measuring and improving intelligent water management capabilities and Strengthening sharing data and governance.
Among the collateral events, the Cultural Heritage and Nature based Solutions event promoted by the SD-WISHEES project in which ISPRA participates, aimed at exhibiting innovative approaches for climate adaptation with a view to preserving cultural heritage. Experts from indigenous communities and areas affected by flooding or erosion caused by drought will participate.
In the Water4All partnership, ISPRA coordinates Pillar C dedicated to Science, Policy and users interface, participates in defining the strategic agenda and in research alignment, communication and internalization activities.
In the SD-WHISHEES project, ISPRA coordinates the Work Package dedicated to in-depth analysis of the impacts on global challenges, the SDGs and European policies and participates in the communication activities of the project.
