Focalizzare l’attenzione sulla tematica delle aree ad elevata concentrazione di stabilimenti a rischio di incidente rilevante (soggetti a normativa “Seveso”), sulle relative considerazioni in termini di effetto domino e di ricadute sulla pianificazione urbanistica e territoriale, oltre che di pianificazione dell'emergenza esterna, anche attraverso la contestualizzazione degli argomenti a casi reali come quello del polo industriale siciliano di Augusta-Priolo-Melilli.
Questa la finalità principale del primo degli eventi multilaterali, previsti nell'ambito di un accordo di collaborazione sulle attività Seveso stipulato da ISPRA con il MASE, descritta dai Rappresentanti delle istituzioni nazionali e territoriali nell’ambito dei saluti e dei ringraziamenti introduttivi alle tre giornate.
Le diverse sessioni, moderate da Esperti senior di ISPRA, MASE e ARPA, hanno visto la partecipazione di relatori rappresentanti di istituzioni locali e nazionali provenienti, oltre che dall’Italia, anche dal Belgio, dalla Finlandia e dalla Svezia. Significant issues emerged for the municipalities of the industrial hub of AERCA Siracusa. Possible solutions for the prevention of industrial risks.

A seguito delle sessioni tecniche delle prime due giornate e relativa tavola rotonda, la terza giornata si è svolta mediante una presentazione delle attività dei gestori dell’area industriale e, in seguito, mediante una visita tecnica presso gli impianti di Raffineria, ivi incluse la sala controllo e la unità antincendio.
Al termine dell’evento, gli organizzatori hanno rivolto un sentito ringraziamento e “un arrivederci a presto” ai numerosi partecipanti, sia in presenza sia da remoto, sottolineando ancora una volta come la leale collaborazione tra gestori e autorità competenti, la sinergia e la condivisione di esperienze e buone pratiche tra tutti i portatori interesse siano fondamentali per il raggiungimento di obiettivi comuni di miglioramento e crescita.
